Summer Wedding Day at the Hawthorne House

Jacob and Jessica’s wedding was nothing short of incredible. They chose the Hawthorne House, one of Kansas City’s most popular wedding venues (for good reason). We loved how secluded this venue felt. It features 11 acres with beautiful greenery and trees, an old farmhouse to get ready, and a large indoor reception hall. There was a stage in the reception hall for the live band. We also loved the abundance of natural light because of the many windows. We also loved that the reception hall was very open and spacious.

Jacob + Jessica’s Love Story

One of our favorite parts about this wedding day was how naturally Jacob and Jessica interacted with each other. It’s so evident that they are insanely in love. These two had a long-distance relationship while at different universities. They just knew that they were the right fit, and they were excited to celebrate their wedding day. Their personalities shine through in the wedding film and you’ll love the silly faces and beautiful moments we were able to capture!

Moments We Love From Their Wedding Film

Some of our favorite moments from their wedding film were the introduction, dancing, and the reading of their letters. This fun couple wanted to show off their crazy side, so we included a lot of footage from their reception from the very beginning of their film. The live band was incredible and kept the dancefloor full all night long. We also wanted to highlight how silly and genuine Jacob and Jessica are. It was easy to capture the joy between this awesome couple. We wish you two the best!
